The Royal Cayman Islands Police Service (RCIPS) uses a variety of vehicles for law enforcement. The most common patrol vehicles are Fords with Taurus Police Interceptor sedans and various model year Ford Explorer Police Interceptor Utilities. The RCIPS also has deployed around a dozen Ford Focus sedans along with Suzuki Vitaras for neighborhood policing. Over the last decade the RCIPS’ fleet has changed many challenges, though it offers quite a bit of variety. Currently the oldest patrol vehicles are the 2007-2008 Chevrolet Impala 9C1s, but these are mostly decommissioned, though there are still a few left in service.
In 2011 the RCIPS purchased some Dodge Chargers.
